Wistiki in its box
Sold in its cardboard packaging, the Wistiki is supplied with four wrist straps in different colors: red, purple, green and black. There is also a double-sided adhesive to stick it on any object you want not to lose and its replaceable flat battery.
Design and ergonomics
The wistiki was entirely designed in France. This small plastic object weighs only 8 grams, is only 5 mm thick and 36 mm side.
Wistiki’s free mobile app is designed to work with multiple smart health connected key rings. Very easy to use, you can ring your Wistiki via your Smartphone to find your items in case of loss. Of course if your object is out of range you can always geolocate it. And if your smartphone is no longer by your side, don't panic the small button on the sensor makes your phone ring even when it is in silent mode.
The application allows you to set up an option " virtual leash " This allowsbe alerted when the object with the Wistiki is out of range. To anticipate the loss of business, the electronic leash is very practical, but watch out for notifications which sometimes become a little too invasive. So you have to know which object really deserves to be held with this electronic leash to not get overwhelmed.
Getting started and adaptation time
Getting started with Wistiki is pretty quick if you stick to the mobile app. Only downside is the trap door on the Wistiki is very difficult to remove. You don't get used to it, but ringing your keys or remote control is quite possible.
It is very practical to remember that we left them at health home thanks to the GPS function of the smartphone, with the ringtone we can easily find them in his bag. Also tested on a remote control, no need to run everywhere to find it.
And that's not all, the Wistiki goes everywhere, you can even put it in a person's pocket and geotag it, interesting isn't it?
Compatibility: Android 4.4 except Galaxy S2 and MotoG, iOS from iPhone 4S to 6 Plus, iPad 3 – 4 Mini, iPod Touch 5
Food : The sensor is powered by a battery (supplied and replaceable), lifetime of one year.
Connectivity: Bluetooth Low Energy technology
Scope: the GPS can receive the wist all over the world, ringing and radar up to 50 meters.
Sealing and resistance: The accessory made in France resists rain and can support a load of 50 kilos.
What I liked : The Wistiki smart health connected keychain is really handy when you get used to its presence. The huge positive, it's its reverse ring mode, which allows on the one hand to ring the Wistiki via his Smartphone to find the object, but also to ring his Smartphone on the other hand with the Wistiki.
What I did not like : The hatch on the Wistiki is really very difficult to remove to be able to set up the smart health connected key holder, to say we could leave a nail there! The Bluetooth as well as the GPS must be permanently switched on and there is therefore no possibility of ringing the objects without, of course … Smartphone battery must be really durable to be able to use it optimally. There were no instructions inside the package, even if paperwork is often done a little explanatory note would not have been too much.
Small problem at the beginning of the configuration of my Wistiki account, the hotmail email address didn't work I never received a confirmation email (even after several tries), no problem with Gmail or the email was sent instantly to activate your account.
Improvements that could be made on the Wistiki : the possibility of choosing its "small" ringtone to ring its Wist or its Smartphone, but above all to absolutely replace the hatch on the sensor which is not really practical to use. Also, add a GPS integrated directly into the Wistiki to be able to have live geolocation data.
Wistiki Review, the smart health connected keychain
Reviewed by Renaud
Desing : very light and small, easily transportable it is almost forgotten, perhaps considering more aesthetic materials would be a plus.
Application : The application is very functional and very pleasant to use thanks to its fluidity. Some bug from time to time with geolocation.
Features: The reverse ring function is very practical, the electronic leash is perfectible. It really sends too many notifications… No GPS built into the Wistiki.
use: The use becomes very practical when you get used to its presence, and yes ringing your remote control or your keys is not trivial after all. But the ringing is sometimes annoying.
Value for money : For its price and the materials used. The price remains very correct.
