However, there are clear differences in data storage and energy supply. So is Blink XT2 the only cam in which evidence images are stored for up to one year free of charge via the cloud. Arlo Ultra offers the possibility to choose between a cloud subscription and the use of a local memory card. At ring on the other hand, video storage without a subscription is not possible at all.

Overall, Blink XT2 is the cheapest solution, but Ring and Arlo offer practical extras such as optionally available solar panels for locations without a power connection.

The design of the eufyCam 2C is strongly reminiscent of the Arlo surveillance cameras. A spotlight, an intercom function and the possibility of setting up surveillance zones are other similarities. However, the night vision mode of the eufyCam 2C only records images in black and white instead of color and a siren is not found.
