Fossil has officially introduced its new line of Gen 5 connected watches, smartwatches that work with Google's operating system, Wear OS.
While Samsung has also unveiled a new connected watch recently, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, it is the turn of Fossil to unveil its new range of smartwatches.

With this transfer partnership, Google hoped to conquer the market of connected watches, a sector that dominates Apple and Apple Watch today.
As a result, Fossil today unveiled the Wear OS watch that will succeed Fossil Q4. In addition to this OS, new smartwatches ship a Snapdragon 3100 chip dedicated to wearables. In the same way as the previous model, this one has a 1.28 inch OLED display, 8 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM.
On the other hand, the devices of the brand will be able to allow the user to take calls from his watch since it loads speakers. In short, he will not necessarily have to take out his mobile phone.
The Fossil Gen 5 is available in two variations: the Fossil Julianna HR, which is more feminine, and the Fossil The Carlyle HR, which is more masculine. With their 44 mm, both watches are sold for 299 euros and are available in gold or black.
