My opinion that Fitbit is an absolute leader in the health and fitness trackers market. After I tried a couple of trackers, I concluded that the Fitbit is most comfortable to wear, easy to use, has the best app, provides accurate measurements and interesting Premium features.I've used to wear Fitbit Versa 2, but it was a bit bulky for me to wear it overnight. And this is an important point for me - to track my sleeping. The Sleep tracking feature is detailed, well explained and convenient to follow.Considering all mentioned above, Fitbit Inspire 2 is a perfect choice for my goals.I remove the watch only when I shower, just because I don't want to spend time drying it.For sure, Fitbit Inspire 2 is waterproof because I already immersed it in water several times, and nothing happened.Besides, I enjoy a lot the touch "buttons" on both sides, which makes the shape of the pebble look symmetrical, and nothing sticks out.The original silicone band is very comfortable to wear and feels nice on the skin, even when it's wet.It was easy and straightforward to connect the tracker to the Fitbit App.The pleasant surprise that the tracker comes with a Free 12-month Premium membership. The battery life is exceptional - it's on 79% after the three days of usage 24/7.I'm happy with my purchase.
I had to return the first one. Could not track HR (not even close). The second one worked better, but syncing with the app is RIDICULOUS. Almost every time it needs to be paired again. Now it won’t even sync at all. (Newer iPad, new phone......works with neither). The fact that they have new “what to do if syncing doesn’t work” instructions right on the sync function tells you something. Follow the instructions.....nope, still nothing. Save yourself the frustration. I think this will be a SECOND return, and I see an Apple Watch in my future. Do not recommend AT ALL.
The mobile app is user friendly and insightful. (I’m still using the free 1 year premium subscription that came with device, so I can’t speak about what the device is like to use with the basic app features.) I enjoy the options of joining the Fitbit community and the sleep tracking is useful (I’ve noticed that the late nights I have takeout coincide with a poorer night’s sleep, go figure!). I like the ways that my Fitbit cheers me on to help me accomplish daily goals (reaching daily step count, gaining “Zone” minutes, avoiding being sedentary during the day). I also appreciate how it notifies me when my iPhone is ringing and I can see incoming text message during the times that my phone isn’t on my person. Overall I am really enjoying the Fitbit Inspire2 and would recommend to those looking for such a device.
